Welcome to my personal design and development web log. I am a website designer/developer from March in Cambridgeshire; leaning more towards to development side. I designed and developed this blog using Wordpress and have recently begun offering the skills I have developed to outside clients in order to gain some commercial experience.

I have a coding background acquired from a BSc(hons) in Software Development from the University of Lincoln, which mainly focused on C++, OpenGL, Actionscript and Java. Since then I have undertaken a personally led course of study in HTML/XHTML, CSS, Wordpress PHP, alongside design theory, typography and advanced Photoshop techniques. I have also had prior experience using Flash and ActionScript 2.0/3.0.

My Blog

The main objectives of this blog is to showcase my work flow from initial design stages through development, implementation to the final, finished product. This site will also double as my online portfolio offering an overview of work I have done for myself as well as others, and to showcase what work I can do through conceptual designs and coding.

I will also be sharing some coding techniques I learn or have learned in various posts in the hope that other people may find them useful, or simply offer an alternative method to otherwise common solutions.
